MACQUARIE GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE TOTAL RETURN FUND INC. REGULAR INVESTOR UPDATE CONFERENCE CALL

NEW YORK, June 24, 2008  – Macquarie Global Infrastructure Total Return Fund Inc. (NYSE: MGU) (the “Fund”) today announced that Mr. Justin Lannen, Co-Portfolio Manager of the Fund, will be hosting a regular investor update conference call on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 4:15pm EDT.

During the call, Mr. Lannen will discuss the Fund’s results for the quarter ended
May 31, 2008. Mr. Lannen will also describe some of the key investment characteristics of infrastructure assets and provide his perspective on current market conditions.
