TimberRock has engaged Macquarie Tristone to seek proposals for a corporate sale. TimberRock has an inventory of low risk horizontal multi-frac drilling opportunities focused in the Cardium at Buck Lake and Willesden Green with 6 to 18 month payouts. TimberRock also has an inventory of liquids-rich gas and oil opportunities in the Notikewin, Glauconitic, Lower Mannville, Shunda and Leduc/Swan Hills at Groat.

  • TimberRock is a private company pursuing light oil and liquids-rich gas resource plays of West Central Alberta in the Buck Lake, Willesden Green, Ferrier and Strachan areas
  • October production of 472 boe/d will be significantly enhanced by three new wells coming on stream in November with a combined IP of 500 boe/d (net working interest) 
  • Two recent Cardium horizontal drills have each tested >1,000boe/d from pool extensions at Buck Lake (046-06W5) 
  • The Cardium acreage at Willesden Green is seeing top decile flow rates with offsetting acreage attracting 24 new well licenses in the last month 
  • Numerous seismically defined liquids-rich Notikewin prospects have been identified with nearby success seeing a 7x IP multiplier from vertical to horizontal development 
  • Proven technology in the lower permeability facies of the Glauconitic Hoadley Barrier Complex sand reservoir is trending onto TimberRock’s acreage 
  • The liquids-rich Duvernay fairway extends onto TimberRock lands at Pembina 
  • Additional inventory of liquids-rich gas and oil opportunities have been identified 
  • Updated reserves from McDaniel & Associates Consultants Ltd. are effective November 1, 2011
