GIF II¹ is a series of unlisted 10-year closed-end funds with a focus on infrastructure investment in OECD countries (except Australia), as well as Hong Kong and Singapore.

GIF II is closed to new investors.

Objective

GIF II targets assets characterised by their sustainable competitive advantage, and looks to add value to investments through active management.

GIF II originally invested in 9 underlying business, two of which have already been divested.

Arqiva: Broadcast transmission services, wireless infrastructure and public safety provider in the UK
Wales & West Utilities: Regulated gas distribution network located in Wales and South West of England
Retirement Care (NZ): Largest aged care social infrastructure provider in New Zealand
DCT Gdansk: Deep sea container port in Poland
Itevelesa: Spanish vehicle safety and gas emission inspection business
Trois Sources & Lomont: Wind farms in France
Duquesne Light Holdings: Electricity transmission and distribution business in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
