Infrastructure funds management
Macquarie Shinhan Infrastructure Asset Management Co. Ltd ("MSIAM")
MSIAM is a joint venture asset management company established by the Macquarie Group and the Shinhan Financial Group in 2002 and licensed as an asset management company in 2005. MSIAM manages the Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund ("MKIF"). MKIF was established in December 2002 as an unlisted fund to invest in infrastructure projects being developed and/or operated under the Korean Private Participation in Infrastructure Act and was listed on the Korea Exchange and the London Stock Exchange in March 2006. Financial advisory
Shinhan Macquarie Financial Advisory
A joint venture between Macquarie and Shinhan Financial Group  provides financial advisory services including advice on project financing, infrastructure management, structured finance, cross border leasing, mergers and acquisitions and specialised funds management in Korea.

Equity derivatives
Wooribank Macquarie Business Co-operation
Macquarie's Equity Derivatives business operating in co-operation with Wooribank is able to provide a full-range of equity derivatives activities to clients in Korea.

Macquarie Samchully Asset Management Company Limited
Macquarie Group and Samchully, the leading natural gas distributor in Korea, have set up a joint venture asset management company ‘Macquarie Samchully Asset Management Company Limited’ (“Macquarie Samchully) which is specialized in the area of energy related investments. The Company was issued a "Special Asset Only Fund" collective investment licence by the Financial Services Commission and established on 3 June 2009

The Macquarie Samchully will initially focus on offering to the Korean market, investment funds and mandates with global mandates for coinvestments in traditional energy resources such as oil and gas wells and coal mines; renewable energy such as photovoltaic power plants and fuel cells; and energy related infrastructure.

The Macquarie Samchully blends together the global and funds management capabilities of Macquarie and the Korean energy market experience of Samchully.

The Macquarie Samchully is a timely development for the Korean market with increasing demand by Korean investors to take a direct interest in global energy assets.
