Infrastructure funds management
Macquarie Shinhan Infrastructure Asset Management Co. Ltd ("MSIAM")
MSIAM is a joint venture asset management company established by the Macquarie Group and the Shinhan Financial Group in 2002 and licensed as an asset management company in 2005. MSIAM manages the Macquarie Korea Infrastructure Fund ("MKIF"). MKIF was established in December 2002 as an unlisted fund to invest in infrastructure projects being developed and/or operated under the Korean Private Participation in Infrastructure Act and was listed on the Korea Exchange and the London Stock Exchange in March 2006. A joint venture between Macquarie and Shinhan Financial Group provides financial advisory services including advice on project financing, infrastructure management, structured finance, cross border leasing, mergers and acquisitions and specialised funds management in Korea.

Kookmin Macquarie Treasury Derivatives
Macquarie has a long-term business co-operation agreement with Korea's largest commercial bank, Kookmin Bank, to establish a successful derivatives business.
