Macquarie Capital Finance Japan Limited

Macquarie Capital Finance Japan Limited is a Japanese corporation engaged in operating leasing and the remarketing of high technology equipment. It is engaged in the leasing of IT, semiconductor manufacturing equipment and other high tech equipment to Japanese corporate lessees. Macquarie Capital Finance has been active in Japan since 2003 through a predecessor company and is expanding rapidly providing asset management services in the form of very flexible operating leases while actively buying, selling and trading IT and semiconductor equipment either off our lease portfolio, from our inventory or directly out of the market. The new lease accounting standards in Japan which allow for off balance sheet treatment for true operating leases has provided a stimulus for our business since its implementation as of 1 April, 2008. A new Joint Venture agreement with NEC Lease is now in place to establish a state of the art global remarketing services centre in Japan for IT related equipment. We are also working with Japanese leasing company partners to expand our business further in the semiconductor market both in Japan and globally.
