Macquarie Securities has over 1900 staff employed in 27 offices around the world.
The Institutional Stockbroking business provides sales and execution for institutional investors. Macquarie Securities has membership of 23 exchanges worldwide and has distribution capabilities into all major financial centres globally. The business continues to improve its client panel rankings and market share.
Macquarie Research provides analysis and market intelligence across key industry sectors including infrastructure/utilities, property, resources, gaming and quantitative research. Macquarie Research has one of the largest research teams in the Asia Pacific region and has a significant presence in the UK, North America and South Africa, offering an extensive range of research products, with 350 analysts covering over 1500 stocks.
Our specialist product and structuring teams provide equity finance and equity-linked investment trading and risk management services to wholesales clients. Our Derivatives area provides services to Hedge Funds including market access, leverage, stock-borrowing and execution.
In addition to these core activities, Macquarie Securities has the middle and back office departments to support the business. These include Finance, Operations (Trade Support, Collateral Management and Corporate Actions), Settlements, Risk Management (Legal and Compliance, Tax and Operational Risk), Technology and HR.
