Macquarie Capital Advisers has a large team of dedicated professionals working in the corporate advisory business in Europe, with a presence in London, Frankfurt, Vienna, Amsterdam, Dublin, Paris, Zurich and Stockholm. Corporate advisory services
Macquarie provides advisory services to corporate, private equity and government clients and originates transactions for public and private mergers and acquisitions, fund raising, corporate restructuring, project financing, private finance initiatives (PFI), public private partnerships (PPP) and other corporate strategic and financial advice.
Infrastructure development
Managing and investing in infrastructure assets, including those delivered through Public Private Partnerships (PPP), is a key focus for Macquarie. We partner with leading technical sponsors on the projects we undertake and bring extensive knowledge and experience in financial structuring and transaction management. We have closed more than 40 PPP projects with a combined value exceeding €10.5 billion.
Specialist funds
Macquarie, through Macquarie Capital Funds, is a global leader in the creation and management of specialist funds which focus on infrastructure, real estate and adjacent sectors. As at 31 March 2009, Macquarie Capital managed approximately €83bn of equity through a range of listed and unlisted vehicles investing in toll roads, airports, communications infrastructure, renewable energy, utilities, transport, directory services and commercial real estate.
Lending and asset financing
Corporate and Asset Finance specialises in investing in and providing tailored financial solutions to businesses to finance assets that are integral to their operations. With a portfolio of assets exceeding €4.3 billion, we have the capacity to invest in and offer financing solutions for both public and private sector assets and infrastructure. Comprising an innovative team of over 200 executives globally, we deliver excellence throughout the entire deal process, from origination through to active and ongoing client management and service.
