Freight contracts, or Freight Forward Agreements (FFA) are "OTC" products executed on a principal-to-principal basis. Once a trade is agreed between two principals, the majority of contracts can be cleared once novated to a Clearing House. With Macquarie Clearing as your partner, you will have access to the following Clearing Houses:

Our Cleared FFA service provides Clients with the benefits of margin netting, elimination of counterparty credit risk, and straight through processing (STP). We aim to structure clearing arrangements to meet our Client's financial goals.
