I joined Macquarie in July 2007 after graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with degrees in Business Administration and Financial Mathematics. I was initially attracted to Macquarie because of its expertise in the infrastructure investment space, strong global presence and unique business model that focuses on both advisory and fund management. After being impressed by many high calibre individuals during the recruiting process, the decision to join the team was an easy one.

The global training program for new starters is great experience. It is made up of one week in New York and two weeks in Sydney and is an excellent opportunity to learn all about Macquarie, gain relevant finance knowledge and network with colleagues from all over the world.

At Macquarie, my role has been constantly expanding and the steep learning curve that comes with the position has been both challenging and rewarding.
