We undertake an extremely thorough and comprehensive recruitment process. We seek candidates who satisfy a broad range of criteria in terms of their ability to make a positive, ongoing contribution to Macquarie.
The campus recruitment process includes an on-line application, interviews, psychometric assessment and reference checking.

Apply now to the 2010 program
Interviews
Where possible, first interviews will be held on campus and will be with a member of the recruitment team and representatives from the relevant Business Groups. This is a general interview to find out more about your interest in the industry, your commercial awareness and your knowledge of Macquarie. There will also be some technical elements to the interview.
Second round interviews will involve you meeting with several members of the relevant Business Group. These interviews will occur after the assessment stage and will be technically focused and relate to the particular position you are interested in. These interviews will take place in October and November at Macquarie’s offices.
Assessment
Following first interviews, successful candidates will be invited to complete a psychometric assessment. This is a standard component of the recruitment process at Macquarie. More information about the assessment will be provided if you are invited to attend.
Reference checking
Reference checks will be conducted prior to offer. Referees will be people who have previously supervised you in a professional capacity and will not be contacted without your consent.
Pre-employment screening
Macquarie has a policy to undertake pre-employment screening for all employees. Further information will be provided to you as appropriate.
